On her journey illustrating her resilience

Starnes says, “After high school, I really wanted to be in a college program that aligned with my career goals – being a popstar! I found a program, Popular Voice, at USC. I did make it all the way to the in-person callbacks but ended up not getting in. In the span of 2020, I did get signed to a modeling agency and ended up moving to my dream city, Los Angeles. I gained a lot of experience and grew more than I ever imagined to. I was able to build real life connections and the freedom of time left me more creative and motivated than ever. I was blazing my own trail. I will be moving back to Los Angeles this summer to continue pursuing music, modeling, acting, and artistry overall.”
